Colonial Flintlock Musket Experience
The adventure begins with a hands-on introduction to weapon technology in the American colonial era. Your teacher has over 35 years of expertise in the construction, collection, restoration, and use of ancient weapons.
You will discover not only what typical small weapons of the 18th century looked like, but also why they were created the way they were, what they could and could not do.
Following a safety overview, we’ll head out to our rustic shooting range, where you’ll learn the basics of loading a colonial-style flintlock musket, much like the militia did over two centuries ago, and then test your accuracy by firing at a target.
The group size is restricted to four people.
