Cave Point Kayak Tour
This kayak tour sets out to visit some of Door County’s numerous treasures.
Thousand-year-old caverns, prehistoric fossils, and Whitefish Dunes State Park await you.
You’ll follow the coast until you discover the coves of Cave Point County Park, where you’ll crawl along listening to the amazing sound of the water and enjoying the view of the caverns after an introduction lecture and a tranquil launch from a spot north of Cave Point. Then, using the kayaks, explore the caverns before heading to Whitefish Bay Dunes State Park.
At this point, you will either return to the launch area or go to the Whitefish Bay Town boat launch (dependent upon the wind).
The caverns are not visible from the surface.
